Camping Hiking and Life
Currently working on a few projects. I am building a diaroma for Front Street, which includes a tutorial on building sidewalks. I am recording this project and will have video up on Youtube – date TBA. I am also constructing DPM Kelly’s Saloon. Both projects have been slow going do to work and baseball season underway.
I also ordered figures from HobbyLinc that I need to prime and paint, as well as some garbage cans that I will make a mold of and duplicate with plaster. I will also put these projects up on YouTube.
Right now its just a matter of finding time to complete them

Well it’s been a while. The Holidays have been crazy and work always seems to get in the way. I hope everyone is having a great new year.
So what’s been going on? Well, a few things:
– We are getting ready for the Spring Baseball season, I never realized how much work goes in to that. The good thing is that it is for the kids and to see them out on the fields playing, laughing and having fun is worth every second, every email and even, every complaint.
– Ryan has been working hard in Scouting, He has just about completed all his requirements for “Arrow of Light”. We are going on a litle day hike tomorrow with some of the boys, we are visiting our local Boy Scout Troop this Tuesday, and the having our Blue & Gold Dinner the first weekend in February.
– Ryan has also been working on his Pinewood Deby Car – We had the weigh-in last night and the race is today. He is looking forward to it. He did it all himself, except for the major cutting. Pictures will be coming.
– He also started Hockey again on Saturdays. His team is 3-0 and lat 2 games he only let in 1 goal in each of them, they are currently tied for first place and play this afternoon.
- I also completed the Tutorial for building a model railroad structure and have it posted on my YouTube channel. There are several parts to the series so be sure to check them all out here and let me know what you think.

This video I build the DPM Front Street Building. This is HO scale but the process I use can be used for any scale and any model. I provide step by step instructions on how I build my model structures including priming, airbrushing, and finishing touches.
